KGMU Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025: Post Details

King George's Medical University has released Nursing Officer vacancies for both General Recruitment and Backlog posts. The distribution of posts is as follows:

Required Eligibility and Selection Process

Candidates applying for this post should have B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc (Post Certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM). Also, registration with the Indian Nursing Council is required. Two years of work experience is also required for diploma holders. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination.

Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum age should be 40 years as on 1st January 2025. Age relaxation will also be given as per the rules of the university.

Application Fee

The application fee for General, OBC and EWS candidates is Rs 2360. While the application fee for SC, ST and PH candidates has been fixed at Rs 1416.
